An excerpt from an interview that Gaby Meza did with Luisito Comunica went viral on social networks, as the influencer told him that many years ago, when he met Lele Pons at an event organized by YouTube, he came up to talk but she told him that she could not speak Spanish. This situation was strange for Luisito since he had in mind that Lele had Venezuelan roots.
Some time later, when the Latin boom emerged in the United States, Lele Pons began to show off on social networks his Venezuelan genetics, which surprised Luisito Comunica when he recalled that experience with the young woman. “This tremendous woman is Latina when it suits her,” said the youtuber.
Lele Pons was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He spent 5 years of his life there and then moved to Miami, United States where he spent most of his adolescence. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California and in many videos he has expressed pride in his roots, as well as a taste for Venezuelan culture. In fact, he shares a close friendship with JuanPa Zurita, another well-known Mexican influencer and in the content that both of them have uploaded to Youtube together, they show great affection and that many of these videos are humorous representations of Latin American customs.
In almost all of her current clips, she is shown fluent in Spanish, which proves that the singer is Latin but rather at that time she did not want to talk to Luisito, as he said in the interview stating that she was probably busy.
On this occasion he openly expressed his opinion about the influencer, however, he clarified that telling this anecdote did not have a bad intention and asked that things should not be misrepresented. “And beware, it is repeated that this is counted with laughter,” he added.
Luis Villar has more than 38 million subscribers on the YouTube platform, making him one of the most recognized content creators of Mexico. The 31-year-old has rarely been involved in polemics of the medium, on almost every occasion he has been mentioned in rumors he shows himself on the sidelines.
Such is the occasion when the online traveler posted a photo on Instagram where he appeared with his girlfriend and a bottle of mezcal that had the phrase your buttocks will be mine. At the time, this caused a stir among the Internet community because users thought that Luis was transmitting a macho message. Luisito, for his part, calmly responded to the accusations and apologized for what happened on his Twitter account.
“I acknowledge that my photograph yesterday was inappropriate and I thank you for taking me as an example so that we understand that it is NOT funny. Although I just laughed at the name of mezcal and didn't think about the substance of its meaning, I realize that I'm going to stop.”
