Kate del Castillo lashed out at the same restaurant where “Lady Profeco” complained

The renowned Mexican interpreter, Kate del Castillo, dissonated against one of the most luxurious and renowned restaurants in Mexico, after an alleged bad service; the funny thing is that this is the second time that this place has been linked in a media controversy after its incident with Lady Profeco in 2013.

It was through her Twitter account, that the Mexican historian who gave life to Teresa Mendoza in La Reina del Sur, shared in a short thread her disgust at the lack of professionalism of the place, as well as against the attitude that was presented at the restaurant Máximo Bistrot, for not wanting to heat up the dish that they served him cold.

On the other hand, the daughter of the histrion, Erik del Castillo and Kate Trillo, explained that her parents, as well as her partner, Carmen Cervantes, received inattentive treatment by the staff who were in charge of caring for them.

“Too bad, Mexico being the country with the best service, in one of the 'top 10′ restaurants, they didn't want to heat up the dish they served me cold. The person in charge, rude to my parents and my partner Carmen Cervantes, just for asking for a sunless table for them. Mal @MaximoBistrot,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account.

However, their public complaint did not stop there and because of the above, the daughter of Eric del Castillo and Kate Trillo del Castillo said that the prices handled by the restaurant do not match the experience and treatment they offer.

“The exuberant price of this place would have to do with experience and treatment. In addition, the chairs and tables are too uncomfortable. Bad for @MaximoBistrot”, argued the Mexican interpreter,

Since last March, Kate del Castillo has been in Aztec lands, for the filming of the new season of La Reina del Sur. The recordings of the new chapters began at the end of May 2021 in Colombia and, some time later, they moved to Mexico City.

The Maximo Bistrot controversy with “Lady Profeco”

Beginning in 2011, the term “Lady” began to be used in Mexico to refer to women who, with a social class considered high, commit actions classified as superb. The first time this term was referred to in the public eye was when two women were called “Las Ladies de Polanco”, after assaulting a group of police officers.

After that, the second time that the name “Lady” was alluded to in Mexico was thanks to Andrea Benitez, who was named “Lady Profeco”. At that time, the young woman belonged to a privileged social class because she is the daughter of the former Attorney General of the Republic, Humberto Benitez Treviño.

He quickly ended up being coined on social media to emphasize a person trying to take advantage of his privileged position.

The young woman went to Máximo Bistrot, located in the Roma neighborhood of Mexico City. There, the second “Lady” in the history of Mexico, was received by the local waiters, who asked her to wait until she could occupy a table. That was enough for the woman to threaten with the phrase “you don't know who I am” and with excessive arrogance she demanded that the site be shut down.

The case escalated to the presidency of the Republic, which was then led by Enrique Peña Nieto, who asked that an investigation be initiated to clarify the facts. Moments later, the young woman's father apologized publicly through his social networks and the renowned local reopened once the process to which he was subjected by the young woman's accusations ended.
