Juan Guillermo Cuadrado did not start this Wednesday afternoon, April 20 with Juventus in the return match against Fiorentina for the semifinal of the Coppa Italia 2021/22.

However, his teammates on the pitch were crucial to sustain the advantage gained in the first leg of March 2 at Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence, a square where Cuadrado provoked an own goal at the last minute that left the series in favor of the currently champion squad by the slightest difference.

The Colombian entered at the end of the second half of the match to replace right-back Mattia De Sciglio and at the end of the match received a score of 7.1 points out of 10 by the specialized statistics portal, SofaScore, after having had just over 10 minutes on the court.

Misplaced positions during the first 10 minutes of play deprived Fiorentina and Juventus of opening the account in Turin.

In the 12th minute, Dušan Vlahović tried to beat Fiorentina's goal with a left-handed shot from the left side of the opponent's area, which was contained thanks to Polish goalkeeper Bartłomiej Drągowski's bilge:

The account was opened at minute 32. Juventus imposed conditions with a shot in the air by Federico Bernardeschi after an error in the clearance of the left back, Cristiano Biraghi. The 22 Bianconero did not spare and put his team ahead 1-0 (2-0 on aggregate) with a brilliant left-footed volley.

Fiorentina tried to discount with a ball theft by Arthur Cabral in the 40th minute. The Brazilian shot hard with his right leg in the middle of the goal and goalkeeper Mattia Perin responded by saving and leaving a rebound as he was well placed under the three sticks.

The high pressure of Fiorentina in the search for the goal of the discount forced mistakes in the score and the start with possession of the ball for the Cuadrado team. A header by Argentine defender Lucas Martínez Quarta was Florencia's clearest opportunity in the second half to the 50th minute. Mattia Perin was again vigilant under the three sticks of Juventus.

In the 79th minute, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado entered to give his team strength in the brand after Fiorentina's desperate attempts to discount in the series. The Colombian replaced Mattia De Sciglio in the right-back position and was attentive to clear the centers of the parada ball of the violet team.

Cuadrado became huge by overflowing on the right wing against Fiorentina's mark and assisted the final 2-0 of the lap. The Colombian sentenced the story by giving Danilo a clear goal pass. The Brazilian defined the most distant club from the first intention and thus the Turin team celebrated its qualification to the grand final in Rome:

After making their debut in the round of 16 at home against Sampdoria in Juventus's 4-1 victory, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado's team did not lose in the 2022 edition of the Coppa Italia, whose previous rounds were played in a single match. On January 18, Panita made the first goal of the rout against Sampdoria from a free kick in the 25th minute.

On February 10, Juventus played the quarter-finals of the competition, again in home condition, against Sassuolo, a match that ended 2-1 in favor of the Turinese.

On Wednesday, May 11, the grand final in a single match will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Rome against Inter Milan, winner in the Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan. The game, which will be a rematch of the Italian Supercoppa won by Inter on January 12 of this year, will be broadcast for Latin America on ESPN and Star Plus.
