According to the authorities' investigations, in the early hours of Saturday, April 9 in Soacha, a woman identified as Yadira Alexandra Yepes had paid 15 million pesos to have a pregnant mother killed, performed an improvised cesarean section and, subsequently, steal her baby to stay with him.

In images recorded by a security camera from one of the streets that connects Soacha with the village of Chacua in Sibaté, Cundinamarca, Yepes is seen walking at 2:00 a.m. on Saturday with the newborn baby next to a man who was riding a motorcycle after the minor had been snatched from the strength of the mother's womb.

According to the mayor of Soacha, Juan Carlos Saldarriaga, the victim of this murder was a woman living on the street who had been deceived by people who, apparently, offered to help her give birth in her final pregnancy process when she was going through the 37th week of pregnancy.

This information was verified by Colonel Livio Germán Castillo, commander of the Soacha Police, who confirmed that the judicial police collected material evidence, including videos, statements, witness interviews, interrogations and scientific analysis of garments.

According to the servant of the security forces, the woman was discovered after having traveled with the newborn to the Yanguas Hospital in the municipality of Cundinamarque for a health check, but the hospital professionals received her with obvious nerve signals, so they chose to contact the authorities to report the anomalous situation in which she claimed that she had just given birth. This was reported by Colonel Castillo to the media:

Faced with suspicion, Juan Carlos Saldarriaga reported that the police arrived at the Soachuno hospital to deprive her of her liberty and restore her rights to the baby when she was 10 days old:

Yepes would have confessed to carrying out the crime because she had recently lost a baby. Subsequently, the mastermind of the murder was placed at the disposal of the police and judicial authorities, who demonstrated that she has a criminal record and that she should be paying house detention at this time. For its part, the newborn child was left at the disposal of the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (Icbf).

It should be recalled that the inhabitants of the village of Chacua found the body with part of the placenta and umbilical cord at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, when the complaint was made. The victim was recognized as Sandra Johanna Álvarez, born in Garagoa, Boyacá.

Around 2:45pm, the Metropolitan Police were patrolling in the San Nicolás neighborhood, when they were informed that the community had found (in a mountainous area) the lifeless body of a woman, who was lying naked and with a vertical abdominal opening.

According to preliminary data, the mastermind of the murder had hired the services of a subject (not yet identified) to commit the macabre deed. In addition, the one captured today would have incited Sandra Johanna to use psychoactive substances, a factor that would have led her to lose her senses and criminals to execute the crime.
