Debanhi Escobar case: what happened at the party before his disappearance, who was there and why it hasn't been investigated

Debanhi Escobar has been missing since the early morning of April 9, it is known that the 18-year-old girl attended a party in the Nueva Castilla neighborhood in the municipality of Escobedo, in the state of Nuevo León.

Although the name of the owner of the place where Debanhi went has not been revealed, it is known that La Quinta is near or on Via de Numancia street; in addition, the young woman's mother confirmed that it is located one block from the place where she was photographed by a taxi driver by application. This image went viral in the early days of the search.

This is why several inhabitants of this area as well as various Internet users have pointed out that Debanhi went to Fifth Venice, but also nearby were Quinta Toscana and Quinta Villa Montijo.

So far there are no official reports about who were the organizers or hosts of the party and there are no videos, photographs or records of other attendees of the event. However, some unconfirmed versions have transpired where it is claimed that there were people related to organized crime in the coexistence, so no one has published recordings inside the place.

Other versions suggest that at the party there were only teenagers and young people of Debanhi's age, probably classmates from her high school or university, since she is a law student, but there is no public information confirming who the attendees had been besides her friends.

It should be noted that the information about the people who attended the party has not been confirmed by the Attorney General's Office of Nuevo León, a agency that could be investigating the matter without making it public in order to avoid hindering the information.

As for Debanhi, her friends - who left her alone and called the driver by application - argued at first they would have tried to play a “joke” on her, but the 18-year-old's cousin finished disrupting that version.

After the case went viral, people's indignation grew because her friends had left her alone, however, another young woman explained that there were people inside the party who did try to help her.

The Instagram user identified as @nsml_stephanie pointed out that several people approached Debanhi in order to help her and that she arrived safely home, however, they were not lucky as Debanhi's friends assured that they had a “trusted” person for their transfer.

“I haven't stopped thinking about Debanhi's case. I am sure that there were women who were there for her, to try to help her, even I offered to take her home so that she would be safe,” said the user of that social network.

However, the netizen emphasized that Debanhi's friends told her that someone would take them home for them. Unfortunately, this was not the case for the 18-year-old, but it was for her companions.

“There were people who tried to take her home safely, however, her friends did not want to, they said that someone trusted was going to pass by them and this was not the case,” she revealed.

The most recent information about the young woman is that the review of 18 recording devices of the establishments located in the vicinity of her last location was carried out and 15 videos were obtained.

In one of them, it was noticed that, after getting off halfway down the road, Debanhi crossed to the other side of the road, after traveling 20 meters to a freight forwarding company called Alcosa, where he entered on his own foot but was never caught leaving.

It is presumed that the young woman came to the scene for help after her mysterious descent from the taxi by application, but it is not known who she was treated by after she entered the scene.
