Mario Delgado, national president of the Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) party, has been in the eye of the hurricane due to the remarks he has made with Senator Citlalli Hernández regarding disqualifications against the opposition bloc.

As a result of the deputies' rejection of the Electricity Reform last Sunday, April 17, the Morenoists branded the legislators of the opposition bloc as traitors of the homeland.

Similarly, given the general approval of the amendments proposed by Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) to the Mining Law, the party president cherry on a national level, celebrated through his Twitter account that the Mining Law reform, the profits from the exploitation of lithium will be owned by the nation.

In the same way, he took the opportunity to attack the opposition: “The time has come for the opposition to understand that the riches of our Mexico are for Mexicans. We will never again allow homeland sells to hand over our resources to transnationals. Mission accomplished! #ElLitioEsNuestro”, wrote the Morenista.

This publication, received in an ambivalent way, received the response of the controversial publicist Carlos Alazraki, who did not wait to show his disapproval in his characteristic style.

The filmmaker also responded indignantly and commented that what the chief executive had done was to nationalize lithium, which he called third and demanded that it not continue to deceive people.

And it is that even AMLO in 2020 had said that the nationalization of lithium was not necessary because its protection was included in the article 27 of the Mexican constitution.

On the other hand, Mario Delgado was also disqualified and attacked by the leaders of the parties Acción Nacional (PAN), Institutional Revolutionary (PRI) for calling them traitors.

These statements came a day after Morena's leader, along with the party's general secretary, Citlalli Hernández, demanded to “bulletin” opposition deputies for having “betrayed” the homeland with their vote against AMLO's Electric Reform.

The leaders lashed out against them, pointing out the defeat they suffered in Saint Lazarus, defending its members for voting against the Reformation or arguing that the real traitors are the officials of the 4T because of the hatred they have generated with important issues that afflict the country.

Likewise, the deputy panist Gabriel Quadri, on his official Twitter profile where he assured that treason was in fact in some decisions made by the members of the Morena bench. He also made direct accusations against the president such as the lack of medicines for children with cancer or the disappearance of full-time schools.

“BETRAYAL of Mexico is: surrendering the country to organized crime, killing children with cancer, increasing poverty, plunging the economy into recession, destroying full-time schools, destroying environmental institutions, eliminating daycare centers, militarizing, corruption and ineptitude,” wrote the panista.
