The former host of “Venga La Alegría” clarified whether it is true that he would return to the television station after leaving to star in the telenovela on Televisa

A few years ago, it began to normalize that singers, actors, producers and others could be part of another television station or platform other than Televisa, but since 2021 the “bungling” -in this case stealing talent- has become more common and even the projects where they participate have gone into the background, since the interest of the public has focused on seeing who leaves whom and what actions companies take.

A few months ago Brandon Peniche announced that he would no longer participate in TV Azteca's morning Venga La Alegría, as he had a new project, which soon turned out to be a telenovela within Televisa, breaking Arturo Peniche's family theory he was banned from the television station in San Angel. So now a new rumor has been born that he too was an actor returning, being denied by him.

Although the excitement to see him on the Ajusco television station was notorious among his fans, the driver broke the silence about this information and he himself clarified everything in his Instagram stories: “Listen by the way, I'm seeing that you are saying that I'm going to join a program, that I was invited... they didn't invite me anywhere! I'm not going to go into any program,” he said. Shortly after, he ended by saying that he will say when he has a new project “So whatever is going to start, I'll let you know, cheer up!”

It all started a few days ago when Alex Kaffie shared information about the return of the former Venga La Alegría host to Ricardo Salinas Pliego's television station. In it he explained that the job proposal had been sent to him despite the fact that at the time it was he himself who decided to leave TV Azteca, so it was intended to see him in the new big bet ¡Soy Famoso, get me out of here! , exciting his fans on social media.

“Everything indicates that Brandon Peniche returns to Azteca television (let's remember that he threw out his job in Venga La Alegría to start making a soap opera [Contigo Sí] on Televisa. I find out that the Ajusco television station has invited him to participate in the extreme test reality show Soy Famoso Sácáme de Aquí. Therefore, if he accepts, he will return to the company from which he left,” he said in his column.

Despite the taste of his fans, what Kaffie mentioned is now denied and that is why Brando is expected to continue doing more projects within the Dream Factory since in the past weeks his name has been rumored for various bets that the television station has prepared for the second half of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, after its merger with Univision.

Peniche joined the cast of the melodrama Contigo Sí in 2021 and his departure from Venga la Alegría, which was a few weeks before starting recordings and broadcasts, was very clear from the start; he retired on good terms under the argument that he wanted to do things other than driving.

At that time another great talent from TV Azteca migrated: Anette Michel also joined Brandon's soap opera, leaving the Ajusco television station at the same time. Her departure generated uncertainty among viewers and in May 2021, the actress revealed exclusively for TVyNovelas that her exclusive contract had not been renewed:

“I can participate wherever I want or where they offer me, because my contract with TV Azteca was no longer renewed. The situations and causes are left in the inkwell, because it is a place where I have been for several years and I have nothing bad to say about the company, but the last administration was not what I expected...”, he said.
