On May 18, Netflix will announce the third and final season of Who killed Sara? , the Mexican thriller drama created by José Ignacio Valenzuela. A little less than a month after its release, the streaming giant shared the official trailer showing the special participation of the famous actor Jean Reno (The Perfect Killer and A French Cop in Japan) in the new episodes.

Will Alex finally find out who is behind Sara's disappearance?” , reads the official synopsis of the final installment.

The story of Who Killed Sara? focuses on Alex Guzman and his plan of revenge against the Lazcano family, 18 years after being deprived of his liberty. In this purpose, he will discover the most hidden secrets of all the people who linked with his sister, Sara, in the past. Even details about the young woman that had never been known will come to light.

Alex has to face a ghost that has been with him all his life: the real Sara. Did you really know her while you were alive? The first two seasons have shown that no. For this reason, he will have to put together the missing pieces to discover the truth and fully learn the terrible story of Sara and her relationship with this family clan.

The cast consists of Manolo Cardona, Gines Garcia Millan, Carolina Miranda, Claudia Ramirez, Alejandro Nones, Eugenio Siller, Ana Lucia Dominguez, Luis Roberto Guzman and Fatima Molina. For this new season, the production added the participation of Jean Reno and Rebecca Jones as guest stars. The series is created by José Ignacio Valenzuela and is produced by the Perro Azul company.

After the release of the first chapters of Who Killed Sara? , the title was placed in the Top 10 of the most watched non-English language series on Netflix. The initial season was watched for more than 266 million hours and was positioned above the fourth season of Elite.
