Welfare Pension: this way you can locate the registration module to access the 3,850 pesos

The deadline for registration for seniors is next Saturday, April 30

Once again, the Welfare pension for older adults reactivated the registration process for those who reached the age of 65. That way, people who reached this age range between January and April will be able to register in the coming days.

What is the deadline for joining the Welfare Pension? Those interested should locate the modules and come with some documents, according to the Secretariat the deadline will be Saturday, April 30 of this year.

Those interested will have to go to the module that is enabled, according to their entity or municipality and based on a calendar issued by the Welfare Secretariat. All older adults will need to revise the date assigned to them based on their first surname.

What is the registration schedule?

*April 18 and 25: letters A, B, C

*April 19 and 26: D, E, F, G, H

*April 20 and 27: I, J, K, L, M

*April 21 and 28: N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R

*April 22 and 29: S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z

*April 23 and 30: any letter.

It will be important to remember that the entities that are not registering at the moment are those that are in the electoral process. These are the six states: Durango, Aguascalientes, Oaxaca, Hidalgo, Quintana Roo and Tamaulipas.

How to locate the registration module?

*Adults 65 years of age or older will need to access the following link.

*Annotate your entity and municipality.

*It will then display some options with the exact address of the places where you can go.

According to the official portal of the Secretariat, seniors should also consider the following documentation, both for the applicant and the assistant.

What are the documents?

-Carry an official ID.

-The Unique Population Registration Key (CURP).

-Readable birth certificate.

-Proof of address not older than six months.

-Offer a contact phone number to follow up on the procedure.

According to the information, the opening hours in the modules are from Monday to Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00 pm. People enrolled in the program will receive financial support from the Mexican government of at least 3,850 pesos on a bimonthly basis, that is, every two months.

The procedure must be carried out free of charge and without intermediaries. If you have any clarification or doubt, older adults will have to make a telephone call to the following number: 800 639 42 64.

According to the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the increase in the pension for the benefit of older adults will continue until the end of their six-year term. This is a gradual plan for millions of people to receive just over 5,000 pesos by 2024.

Seniors who already have their Welfare card will be able to use it to make purchases, make deposits, receive payments, enable their plastics to make transfers, among other benefits.
