At 11:00 a.m. on April 19 representatives of different political groups in the country met at the headquarters of the Attorney General's Office to meet with the head of this entity, Margarita Cabello. Attendees expressed their concerns, concerns and proposals for electoral guarantees ahead of the presidential elections to be held in May and June.

It was indicated that the space was attended by representatives of the League of Anti-Corruption Rulers, Colombia Justa Libres, the Esperanza Center Coalition, the National Salvation Movement, the Historical Pact, the Oxygen Green Party, Colombia Piensa En Grande and the Team For Colombia. The strongest request made by the groups is that the current registrar Alexander Vega be suspended and that an ad hoc registrar be assigned.

The argument for the petition is the high number of complaints of irregularities during the elections of March 13.
