Diablos Rojos presented new uniforms ahead of the Mexican Baseball League; they will debut against the champions

The baseball with the greatest tradition and history in Mexico will be launched next Thursday, April 21 with the opening match of the Mexican Baseball League between the Red Devils of Mexico and the Tijuana Bulls, reigning champions of the circuit. Prior to their debut, the scarlet team presented the uniforms with which they will face the new season, as well as the complete roster where names such as Iván Terrazas and Roberto Osuna stand out.

The hopes of winning a new title for the capital's ninth were renewed with the presentation of the new kits. With New Era as the main brand in design and with Lust Mexico as its collaborator, Los Diablos unveiled the innovative uniforms, which in total, were four: one totally red, another with a color of scarlet jersey and white pants, another more black in combination with white pants and red socks, and finally one color white in its three pieces.

During the presentation event, Jorge Del Valle, sports manager of the team, assured that one of the intentions in the configuration of the equipment is that the fans can carry it in the daily life of their lives and not only during matches. “We want innovation, we want to attract a new audience, to these new generations and to make baseball a family environment at all times. We want the jersey and jacket to be not just for the stadium, that it becomes something urban and can be seen everywhere we go,” he said.

The pitcher and one of the main figures that the Pingos count on for the new championship, Roberto Osuna, said he was motivated to be able to win a title with the team. In addition, he assured that his physical condition is ideal to provide his best performance. “(The board) put together a very solid team, we have great pitching and huge batting, I'm sure we're going to compete with whoever it is, in addition, our coaching staff is exceptional, with very capable people and the whole team is motivated to pursue the championship,” he said.

He added: “I felt very good, I am much better, I have worked 100% on my therapies to strengthen my body and the truth is that I am very anxious for the season to start, we have the goal in mind of becoming champions, there are no excuses, we are ready”. In the 2021 season, the scarlets stayed in the championship series dispute in the south zone by falling to the Yucatan Lions four games to one.
