A whole controversy arose in the last season of 'Masterchef Celebrity' in which Carla Giraldo, the ever-eternal and well-remembered 'Lolita', was the winner of Carla Giraldo, who between discussions with Liss Pereira and Frank Martínez managed to win the prize of the RCN reality show cooking program.
In a recent interview with Juan Diego Alvira, the journalist touched on several issues of his personal life, such as his adoption process and a very particular one that the actress had already talked about in an interview with 'Yo, José Gabriel' about the abandonment of her biological parents.
Regarding this process, Giraldo acknowledged that it is an episode in his life that he does not remember with sadness because he is not curious about meeting his real parents, but of which he will always live very grateful to his adoptive parents, because they gave him the opportunity to have a family and he knew what a home is.
“I am adopted as a newborn. My parents are my parents, they gave me when I was born, that's what I know, I didn't want to know much more, or delve into a topic that wasn't a trauma... I always knew it and in that aspect my parents were always very honest,” said the actress.
Giraldo pointed out that he considers himself a very fortunate person to have been able to find in his adoptive parents that warmth of home that he did not have with biologics.
“My life was always enlightened, I didn't have cruel people nor did I experience moments of pain because I found a family that would give me support and that warmth of home,” Carla Giraldo added to her story in an interview with Juan Diego Alvira.

Later, after thanking the person who gave him life, he also gave himself the opportunity to talk about how he learned about abandonments, referring to the time when he decided to leave his home.
“... I think they are things that I had to live, that I had to learn, I learned at the point of abandonment, that was my first abandonment, then I leave my house, then I start from side to side... my life was always from timbo to tambo and I had to live all that to have what I now have”, said the actress.
And he added about whether or not he believes in destiny: “If my mother hadn't adopted me, I wouldn't have been an actress, if my aunt hadn't been the nun in that convent where my biological mother gave birth, I wouldn't have reached my mother's arms, if my mom hadn't been barren and hadn't met my dad, maybe life would have been different.”
After answering the issue of his adoption, he returned to the subject of his biological parents and answered him if at any point in his life he had any interest in meeting his parents, to which he stated that, “I prefer to leave it alone”.
“Let's say there are things that I want to investigate in my life, but beyond why or what happened... when I have these kinds of conversations my light bulb goes on and I say 'ahhh, cool the story' but then I hang up and forget it”, concluded Carla Giraldo.
