Authorities in Chiapas activated the Amber Alert for the location of a missing baby at an IMSS hospital in Tapachula, Chiapas, where a woman posed as a nurse to remove the child who was born just one day before her abduction.

According to the first data provided by the authorities, the woman of approximately 45 years old was caught on a security camera when she abducted the minor, so that data were captured that could lead to her identification.

According to data released in the Amber Alert, the dark-skinned woman was dressed in a black blouse, denim pants and white sneakers at the time of her presence in the hospital, where she would have posed as a nurse.

It is presumed that the minor was born in the vicinity of the hospital of the Mexican Institute of Social Security, which would explain his presence there with only one day old, and in which he was abducted from the cradles of the medical center.

The parents of the baby became aware of the minor's disappearance around 2:10pm, so they notified the guards of the unit, who closed the hospital accesses to carry out the search for the child.

According to local media reports, a woman asked Carlos “N”, the child's father, to take the baby to another room to allegedly give him a vaccine around 1:30, forty minutes before he was reported missing by his parents.

After reviewing the security cameras, the authorities were able to realize that the woman had boarded a taxi with the local number 0663, which was already being searched by police from the entity's Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), who implemented a search operation.
