During the early hours of April 18, the arrival of The Batman on the platform belonging to WarnerMedia went viral on social networks, the emotion caused by the film starring Robert Pattinson and which has a great cast, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddle, Andy Serkis like Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as The Penguin and Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon.

Since the end of December, WarnerMedia's chief CEO, Jason Kilar, detailed that The Batman would arrive on the streaming platform, HBO Max, on April 18 .

“Think about when the films would appear on HBO Max or HBO, which is eight to nine months after the theatrical release. But The Batman will appear on the 46th on HBO Max ″, the WarnerMedia executive said for the Recode podcast in late December 2021.

The production of Matt Reeves reviews those first moments when Bruce Wayne debuts as the protector of Gotham City. In addition, this film focuses on highlighting a great virtue that Batman has in comics: being a great detective.

Robert Pattinson succeeds Ben Affleck in the role of the masked man and offers a brilliant interpretation of the hero through a much darker vision. “I am revenge”, is the phrase that has become a hallmark of this version of the British actor, who faces an evil dome in a Gotham City much more faithful to that of the pages of DC Comics.

The film quickly and after the high rod left by Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home, in collaboration with Sony, was strongly successfully added to the film market as Warner's biggest post-pandemic hit, reaching $338.1 million.

According to Forbes, which recently reported these figures, the film with Robert Pattinson ranks fourth in the most successful productions based on DC comics, behind only Wonder Woman (412.5 million), Batman: The Knight of the Night rises (448 million) and Batman: The Knight of the Night (533 million). The latter two belong to the Gotham Watchman saga designed by Christopher Nolan for the big screen.

Joker scene in “The Batman”

Another surprise that HBO Max users might encounter is unreleased material from the film, such as the occasion when a scene removed from the final cut of the film trained in early March was leaked, where Barry Keoghan can be seen in the role of the Joker, specifically when The Riddle (Paul Dano) is locked up in the Arkham asylum.

This scene quickly rose to the trend and you can see the J oker - as all his predecessors have been in the cinema - in a provocative way and with a challenging smile full of scars before the Gotham protector.
