The Attorney General's Office of the State (FGJE) of Sonora reported that the skeletal remains found on April 14 do not correspond to those of Marco Antonio, son of Sonora's leader of Mothers Seekers, Cecilia Patricia Flores.

This was determined by the organ after subjecting the evidence to DNA Genetics in the Forensic Scientific Intelligence Laboratory (CIF), which showed the result as negative.

For her part, Ceci Flores confirmed the announcement, however, despite what was said by the Prosecutor's Office, the mother seeker assured that she will exhaust all resources to confirm that the bones do not belong to her son, who disappeared since May 2019.
