With a simple majority, Morena and her allies (PT and PVEM) approved, this Monday, April 18, in general and in particular the Reform to the Mining Law of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) that promotes Mexico's sovereignty over lithium.

Thus, with a vote of 298 demonstrations in favor, 197 abstentions and zero against, the Mexican state will have the unique powers of exploration, exploitation, industrialization and the integral use of lithium.
