Ignacio López Tarso returns to television in the new season of “Vecinos”

Last Sunday, April 17, 2022 ended the 12th season of Televisa's hit comedy series , Vecinos. However, part of the cast sent a message to their followers where they announced some appearances that can be seen in their next season, among the new faces that will soon be seen that of the first story, Ignacio López Tarso, stands out on his return to television screens.

The 13th season of the series created by Eugenio Derbez in 2005, will have the appearance of the first story, Ignacio López Tarso, as announced by Eduardo España and Manuel Ibáñez Martínez in a video clip of just over 30 seconds: “Neighbors, we will return very soon with many surprises”, said the man who gives life to Germán Martinez in the Canal de las Estrellas series.

During the following season, López Tarso will give life to Doña Lorena's father , played by the renowned Mexican actress, Ana Bertha Espín, and the father-in-law of Frankie Rivers, of César Bono, where both play in the series as parents of Octavio Ocaña, Benito, who died during October 2021 and, which, was honored throughout season 12.

Among the other major special appearances will be the comedian and host of Hoy, Paul Stanley, as well as the presence of Ana and Bertha Ocaña, sisters of Octavio Ocaña. In the short film you can see the relatives of the late performer characterized as girls, where he does not give an idea that his tribute will also allude to the twins in the film The Shining.

“Do not miss season 13 with all our love and that of the production of Vecinos, we made this appearance in the building in memory of our little angel, we are sure, they will love it,” said Ana and Bertha Ocaña in a joint publication via Instagram.

At the moment the date on which the new season of the renowned comedy production by Elías Solorio will arrive is unknown, despite the fact that season 13 of Vecinos has already been recorded in its entirety. However, it is expected that in mid-2022 the dates on which this new stage of the series can be seen will be announced.

For their part, and as expected, some followers of Vecinos did not hide their enthusiasm to see the iconic Mexican actor again on the small screens and more, playing a role as momentous as Frankie Rivers' grandfather, Octavio Ocaña.

The history of national cinema and entertainment could not be written without the name of Ignacio López Tarso, the renowned and iconic Mexican actor who throughout his career has managed to leave an indelible mark on the hearts of the public, returns to the small screens after his last television appearance in 2019.

During the first month of 2022, the first Mexican history reached the age of 97 and in an interview for the morning Hoy, he detailed his enthusiasm to return to the stages, as well as re-participating in some Televisa television production.
