After the vote for the Electricity Reform in the Chamber of Deputies, journalist Epigmenio Ibarra questioned the role played by the deputies multiminal members within the Congress of the Union.
Through his official Twitter account, the founder of Argos Comunicación indicated that this legislative figure was born out of the need to represent political minorities when the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) dominated every aspect of the Mexican regime.
However, he ruled that, at present, people who arrive in the chambers under this figure allegedly represent “lobbyists of transnational corporations”, his words could refer to all allegations of conflicts of interest between legislators and energy companies.
“The figure of multi-member deputies emerges as a way for minorities to be represented, not for transnational lobbyists to vote,” he wrote on his official Twitter account.
And it is that throughout Sunday, April 17, the communicator was following up on what the opposition parties did and, like those close to the Fourth Transformation project, accused them of being “traitors to the homeland”.
Through a tweet he published once it was announced that the reform sent by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) did not pass because it did not reach three-quarters of the necessary votes, Ibarra broke out against the attitude that was demonstrated in San Lazaro.
In the words he shared with his followers, he questioned the existence of a “unanimous vote” by the opposition bloc, since he pointed to such conduct as an anticipated betrayal before the Mexican people.
However, he did not stop with his claims, since he asserted that all those who voted against did so, allegedly, under the banner of money and anger.
Finally, he said that, despite the work of the other political institutes, the move only served to keep one party strong in the eyes of the population: the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
Who also joined the claims was the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, launched herself against the parties against the Fourth Transformation after the discussion.
Through her social networks, the president joined the voices of demand and accused the 223 legislators who voted against having betrayed the country, since she assured that during the more than 11 hours of debate it was possible to observe who are those who love Mexico and who are the ones who betrayed the voters' trust.
Finally, once again joining the rhetoric of the cherry party, Sheinbaum Pardo pointed out that it will be history that will put in their place all the characters who voted against the initiative sent by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) to the Congress of the Union last night.
