Energy Reform: without a qualified majority, opposition rejected AMLO initiative

Mexican deputies voted in particular and in general for the Energetic Reform of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), and as the opposition warned, they did not achieve the qualified majority necessary to approve the initiative.

After the discussion in plenary, the deputies voted in general and in particular on the non-reserved articles, with a total of 275 in favor, 222 against and 0 abstentions, so the draft was scrapped.
