This April 18, a peaceful demonstration is taking place due to the difficulties that some inhabitants of the capital face in mobilizing the surrounding municipalities. According to the protesters, the lack of routes, transport and the long hours of travel due to congestion and poor road conditions have negatively influenced the daily life of the inhabitants who have to move to Mosquera, Funza, Madrid and Facatativa.
In addition, environmentalists have made known their disagreement with the root farm constructions that have not only reduced the number of true areas that affect monoxide levels in the area, but have replaced traditional crops in the area with pavement.
According to Semana Magazine, protests have been established on 13th Street from 6:00 a.m. and are intended to reach the municipality of Mosquera; for its part, the Ministry of Mobility, has recommended that people who move by car in the area to drive with caution to prevent any type of accident.
