The head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, reproached the opposition parties that did not vote in favor of the Electric Reform on Sunday, April 17.

Through his official Twitter account, he joined the speech of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) and accused lawmakers who voted against being “traitors to the homeland.”

“There are those who love the country and there are those who betray it, that size was the decision made with the #ReformaEléctrica What the PRI PAN PRD and MC defended are the interests of transnational companies, such as Iberdrola, for example. History will put them in their place,” he wrote.
