Members of the municipal police apprehended Óscar Luis “N”, an alleged feminicide and likely responsible for the murder of his wife in the municipality of Ecatepec, State of Mexico.

The body of the woman, 30 years old, was found last Monday, April 11, on the banks of the Grand Drainage Canal located in the Ejidos de Santa María Tulpetlac neighborhood. His body was covered with a plastic bag.

No one knew how she ended up there or the circumstances surrounding her death, but her relatives and neighbors reported that she suffered violence and abuse by her partner.

They even pointed out that in recent days it seemed strange to them that no one saw her at her home, where she had been living for some time with her partner Oscar Luis.

This Saturday, April 16, the man was arrested for the crime of illegal carrying of a firearm on Adolfo López Mateos Avenue, in the vicinity of the Jardines de Cerro Gordo neighborhood.

The police who arrested him requisitioned a .38-millimeter caliber revolver. He was allegedly arrested while officers were conducting a security operation for the Easter holidays.

The elements arrested him and transferred him to the offices of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR). There, an investigation kit was initiated for the above-mentioned crime and investigations were initiated to determine whether he participated or had anything to do with the death of his wife.
