The Qatar 2022 World Cup will mark a before and after in the Mexican sports narrative, as it will be the last time that Enrique Perro Bermúdez will star in the chronicle of the Mexican National Team on the TUDN microphones as the Dog announced his retirement from the World Cup coverage , so Qatar 2022 will be their last World Cup.

And as part of the farewell tour that he will undertake along with the Aztec team calendar, he will meet again with Raúl Sarmiento to star in the narration of the National Team's first friendly match heading to Qatar 2022. During the Cruz Azul vs Chivas game, Paco Villa took a few minutes of the game's narration to announce the news with the public and brag about the return of the experienced sports narrator to the television station.

It will be for the Mexico vs Guatemala game next Wednesday, April 27, in which Sarmiento will return to the company in which he collaborated for more than 30 years before his departure from Televisa Deportes in 2019. Perro Bermudez and Raúl Sarmiento will describe the most outstanding actions of the Tri commitment that will be played at Camping World Stadium, Orlando Florida in the United States.

Years ago, when TUDN was Televisa Deportes, both chroniclers shared microphones in different Tri and Liga MX matches and one of the phrases that Raúl Sarmiento popularized was about “the ball is in the background”. But in 2019, with the merger of Televsisa Deportes and Univision from the United States that gave way to TUDN, the experienced narrator was no longer part of the reformulation of the section.

He left the television station because he was part of the employees who were dismissed and who no longer entered the sports television program. Since then he undertook different personal projects such as on YouTube and created the channel La pelota is in the background with Sarmiento. He later joined the newspaper 24 Horas.
