Andrea Chávez, deputy of the Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) party, presented at this Sunday's session in San Lázaro, where the controversial Electric Reform of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) is being discussed, a request that the deputy for National Action (PAN) Margarita Zavala, wife of the former President Felipe Calderón, refrain from voting on the bill.

“For having a conflict of interest having received millions of pesos from one of Iberdrola's subsidiaries,” said the Chihuahua legislator presenting the alleged evidence of her statements.
