Miguel Araujo did not rule out leaving Emmen next season: “I want to stay, but this is football”

Miguel Araujo is one of the most regular Peruvian players abroad in recent years. Since leaving Alianza Lima in 2018 to go to Talleres de Córdoba and then FC Emmen in the Netherlands, he has maintained a high performance. Precisely, with this last team he played promotion this season, being one of the best footballers. However, he did not rule out leaving the club next season.

“I don't know. I hope to stay another year or two. For now I just enjoy this victory and I think about recovering for the next matches and being able to become champion. I might stay, I want to, but this is football. I don't know, it could be another country, another team. We will talk and then I will decide,” said the national defender in an interview conducted by the DVHN media in that country.

To get into context with these statements, Araujo was one of the architects for the cast of 'The Cannibals' to have been able to get the ticket back to the Eredivisie after having dropped last season.
