Karol G at Coachella 2022: schedule and where to watch the 'Bichota' concert

Last Saturday, Karol G ratified his participation in the 2022 edition of the Coachella festival, in a fact that, for the music of the country, is historic, since the line-up of the event is made up, in addition to the 'bichota', world-class artists such as Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia, among others.

Neither J Balvin, nor Maluma and much less Camilo were on the luxury payroll. In fact, only two Colombian artists stood out at the event: Karol G and the Bogotá singer-songwriter Ela Minus- were chosen.

It is worth remembering that Carolina Giraldo - the first name of the urban artist - ratified her presence at the event through her Instagram profile, where, through a small gallery of sensual photos, she invited her 51.3 million followers not to miss the event. A large part of her fans was creative in supporting her using the hashtag #Bichotella, referring to her significance within the festival.

When and how to watch Karol G's presentation at Coachella?

La Paisa will be performing tonight at the event that runs until April 24, and, in Colombia time, will take the stage from 11:15pm to 12 am. Those who wish to see it will be able to do so through the live broadcast that the Coachella channel has on YouTube.

Some Latin artists who stand out at the festival

Since its first edition in 1999, it has become one of the most important events in the music industry. Unlike other shows, it not only brings together stars from the United States or Europe, but also includes Latin American singers on their list of artists. For this edition, attendees and fans will be able to enjoy hours of uninterrupted shows. Who represent us? The 'Bichota' have been called Karol G, Pablo Vittar, Anitta and Nicki Nicole.

For Mexico, they were called Grupo Firme, the young Natanael Cano and Banda MS. Others who have participated or are in the line up are Chicano Batman, Alaina Castillo, Ed Maverick, Ela Minus, Jessie Reyez, Omar Apollo, Ed Maverick, Ela Minus, Paco Osuna and The Martinez Brothers.

However, not everything is rosy in the event, because during this weekend several fans denounced 'Latinophobia' against the Mexicans of 'Grupo Firme'.

While the group delighted festival attendees on stage, their fans issued comments such as: “Three Coachella channels on YouTube and Grupo Firme will not be broadcast on any? LATINOFOBIA”; “I want to see a firm group at Coachella, but I can't find any live and YouTube won't broadcast it” and “That is Grupo Firme is making history and they're not going to pass them on?” mentioning the official YouTube and Coachella accounts.

The fans of Grupo Firme felt that the band headed by Eduin Caz was suffering discrimination, as all other musicians, artists and bands were broadcast on the internet. “If you consider that the group played on the main stage, it is rare that they haven't played it, racist cul*ros,” one netizen commented on Twitter.

With all that, it is almost a fact that Karol G's presentation will be broadcast online this Sunday night.
