José Eduardo Derbez recalled the disappointment that a fan took for not seeing him drunk

As rarely, José Eduardo Derbez shared one of the worst experiences he has ever faced with fans during his artistic career. The Mexican interpreter said that some time ago he became disappointed about the impression that some people had with him after a surprise encounter with a woman who just wanted to take a picture.

The protagonist of Mi Tío attended as a special guest on the Autóntico podcast with Pedro Nieto, where he talked about some unforgettable moments in his life. During the talk, the son of Eugenio Derbez and Victoria Ruffo recalled that on a visit to Acapulco, Guerrero, he met a fan who immediately after seeing him asked him for a photograph of the memory, however, the experience did not turn out what he expected.

“I was walking with my girlfriend and a lady says to me: 'Can I take a picture? ' and I say 'Yes'”, he began. As soon as José Eduardo agreed to take a photo, the fan noticed that the actor was sober contrary to what he expected and let him know: “He says to me: 'Oh! You're sober, aren't you? It's just that I always imagined that if I ever found you I would see you fart, drinking, vomiting, or drowning because that's you. '”

The driver of Members to the Air was astonished by the accusations of the one who claimed to be his fan because, until that moment, he had not noticed the impact that alcohol had on his image and his only response was to explain to him that he was not drinking. In this way, José Eduardo and his fan took the photograph with some degree of discomfort and resignation.

“The woman is disappointed not to see me fart...: 'I promise you that next time I will be waiting for you and I will be fart to see when you arrive and I will run into you again'”, he added.

The member of the Derbez dynasty confessed that the situation caused him mixed feelings. On the one hand he couldn't believe what had just happened and the idea his supposed fan had, while on the other he was offended that he had that belief about him. After what happened, the interpreter resumed his course with his girlfriend and, with some resentment for what happened, decided to consume intoxicating drinks.

“I said: 'I'm going to get up to my finger because I was already offended that this lady will find me again and she is going to find me drowned, what's more, I'm going to pound her over, I'm sure that lady will be happy if I guacareo her. It's going to be like: 'Oh, I found him fart and he slammed me, look please'”, he declared.
