Three bodies, half-buried, were found by residents of the Paso Blanco community on a dirt road located on the corner of Miguel Hidalgo and Madero streets, in the municipality of Celaya, Guanajuato.

The Guanajuato Attorney General's Office (FGE) conducted the survey of the bodies to analyze their DNA and identify them.

The remains were found in a clandestine grave on Friday night, about 400 meters from Telesecundaria School Number 378 and in the vicinity of El Conejo Dam. At the time of the discovery, the inhabitants alerted the authorities through the 911 emergency telephone number.

Municipal agents and the Criminal Investigation Department of the Prosecutor's Office arrived to continue the investigations and carry out the process of lifting the bodies.

Prosecution officers have three partially buried bodies in sight. They proceed to process the scene and eventually order the removal of the bodies to be sent to SEMEFO, where the corresponding forensic examinations are carried out to establish their identity and cause of death,” said the agency, according to Zona Franca.

In the last two weeks, four clandestine graves have been located in Irapuato. On April 2, members of the collective searching for missing persons “Hasta Encontrarte” managed to rescue the lifeless bodies of two men in a hill area of the Cuchicuato community, in Irapuato. It is presumed that they had been buried there for more than 6 months.

“Today our search was positive, we found two people, unfortunately without life. Thanks to the people who give us search points, today two families will know what happened to their children,” the collective wrote on its Facebook page.

The State Search Commission (CEB) indicated that from January to March of this year, the Alba Protocol was activated to search for 275 women, of whom 78 are still missing. It stands out that 193 were located, but 3 of them were lifeless.

The report of the commissioner, Héctor Díaz Ezquerra, detailed that from January to April 25 clandestine graves, 34 boreholes and a bag were located, from which 40 bodies and various human remains have been recovered.

This, after leading 50 field search days and 24 individualized searches with the Attorney General's Office (FGE).

In addition, the Special Report of the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) on the Disappearance of Persons and Clandestine Pits in Mexico revealed, based on sources newspaper, the discovery between 2007 and September 2016 of 18 clandestine graves with 22 bodies in the Guanajuato state.

However, it is believed that there is a black figure on the subject, since the latest official records do not match the data collected by the work of various groups of that entity, since only from January to May 2020 the discovery of 19 clandestine graves in the entity has been confirmed.
