The day of violence at Easter has left at least 11 people murdered in the state of Jalisco in less than 48 hours, between shrouds, shootings, possible femicides, as well as alleged confrontations of organized crime.
Until 15:30 on April 16, the ministerial authorities have recorded the killing of seven men and four women in Juanacatlán, San Pedro Tlaquepaque, El Salto, Guadalajara and Tonalá.
Since the morning of Good Friday, the entity's prosecutor's office reported what seemed like the beginning of the wave of insecurity, but in the course of this Glory Saturday, executions have not stopped in various actions and times in five municipalities.
Around 09:10 a.m. the authorities received the report of a van with firearms hit on the El Salvador breach that leads to Huaracha, in the municipality of Encarnación de Díaz.
Upon arrival, the agents located an abandoned red Nissan NP 300 vehicle with various indications. According to a report by the Jalisco Public Prosecutor's Office, suspected hit men who were in a black pick up fired shots without injuries and later, the aggressors fled to San José del Bajío.
The support of the National Guard and the Army was requested to find those suspected of the attack. Allegedly, it was a shooting perpetrated by cells of criminal groups that are disputed in the area bordering Aguascalientes.
This marked the beginning of the violent day in the last two days of Holy Week in Jalisco, since later there were other shootings and the discovery of bodies in mayors near the capital and in the city of Tapatia itself.
