Daniel Galán, current 128 racket of the ATP ranking, celebrated on the afternoon of this Saturday, April 16, his fourth consecutive victory at the Sarasota 2022 ATP Challenger in the United States, which earned him access to the grand final in the fight for the title of this competition.

The best Colombian in the international tennis ranking defeated the Chilean Canadian player Alejandro Tabilo, who ranks 97th in the ATP ranking, in the semifinal of the competition, after an hour and a half of the match with two partials of [6-6] and [1-6].

Thanks to this victory, Galán Riveros will climb minimally to 124th place and, if he wins the contest, it will be 113. His rival for the trophy will come out of the winner between Denis Kudla (82nd) and Steve Johnson (107th), both Americans.

On the way up to the grand final, Daniel had defeated Bulgarian Adrian Andreev, and Australians Jason Kubler and Max Purcell.

As for the Challenger finals, the last one played by the Colombian was in Concepción 2022, a trophy he lifted after defeating Argentina's Santiago Rodríguez Taverna.
