In mid-March, Lina Tejeiro traveled to Villavicencio, where she was born, and from her Instagram Stories she had portrayed part of the activities she did in that but without being very specific about the specific reasons why he was filming in his hometown.
Now the reason for his trip is known. Last Thursday, April 14, the actress posted on her YouTube channel a video that she christened as “Lina Tejeiro: I was not born in a cradle of gold”. Thus, in the course of the images the llanera showed different aspects of its life: its whole family (father, mother, grandfather, older brother, aunt), also the culture of his land: joropo, gastronomy, and many other aspects.
“We are on our way to Villavicencio, a city in central Colombia where the Andes meet the plain of the Llanos... my city, my land, the city where I was born. We go to the place where mamona is eaten, joropo is danced, halacas are eaten and there are wonderful people. It's time to start so that they know a little more about my life, where I was born, about my family and for us to enjoy a wonderful day”, were the first words that Tejeiro released at the beginning of his video.
This is how the actress and her mother, Vibiana Tejeiro, began their journey in the early morning from Bogotá to their homeland. “When I'm entering Villavicencio I kind of start to feel everything, the excitement of seeing my family begins, of touching my roots again...” Lina said on the way.
As soon as they arrived, throughout the recording day the llanera also had two other constant companions, apart from her mother: chef Yulian Tellez (Yul, the llanero cook) and her older brother, Andrés Tejeiro. As for the chef, the aim was to present the gastronomy of that land.
Among all the activities planned to be carried out: tours of places in the city and visits to family members, the Tejeiro went through the hospital where the actress came to the world. “We are going to pass by the hospital in Villavicencio where I was born on October 8, 1991 at 1:50 in the morning, according to the record... in that hospital I was born (you show it), of charity, what do you mean by charity Vibiana?”
Faced with the question posed by her daughter, the businesswoman recalled the lack of financial resources that she and her then partner, Manuel Eduardo González (father of Lina and Andrés), had to pay hospital debts. “Since we were a couple of young people who had no money, then, so to speak, the hospital subsidized the birth of the girl and we didn't have to pay anything.”
And, now that the actress's father is mentioned, Lina Tejeiro introduced a large part of her relatives to the cameras. In addition to his father Manuel Eduardo González, he also showed his maternal grandfather: Jesús Tejeiro, among others. In the middle of this family reunion, Viviana and Manuel Eduardo recalled part of their already finished sentimental story.
Later, Lina Tejeiro continued with her programming in her city and told her followers of social networks and digital platforms:
“We finished a great day, a great video that was made with a lot of love, a lot of effort, we ran in a single day to try to show you all the culture and folklore llanero. We need a lot of things: landscapes and food, the same people from my Llano need to show it, but in these minutes that we managed to record for you we were able to show a little more of my land, my culture, my life”.
