Almost a month after the presidential elections, the candidates continue to strengthen their campaigns and seek supporters in different regions of the country. Both the left and the right are agitating in the midst of a dizzying and controversial context. In this regard, particular statements also emerge that manage to captivate the public; as happened with presidential candidate Jhon Milton Rodríguez, from Colombia Justa Libres, who was in the midst of a Christian celebration , where they allegedly predicted his future.
The Vallecaucano leader has become the center of attention for his Christian ideas, which go hand in hand with an important mobilization of suffrages from these religious centers, but in the last few hours a video was released with a statement that would give him much more confidence, because in the middle of a ceremony, a pastor pointed out that this would be the next president of the Republic.
The video shows Rodríguez in front of the stage in the middle of ovations. In turn, the other Christian pastor addressed the public and the leader of Colombia Justa Libres, saying:
The applause took the place of congregation, while Jhon Milton Rodriguez was moved and moved. For his part, the pastor who was leading the prayer said: “Let me tell you something: I am in front of the next president of the nation of Colombia.” After that statement, people applauded and celebrated, while the presidential candidate threw himself to the floor in tears.
This situation becomes a particular event in the midst of the political zeal that surrounds the country today, both leaders and voters seek to strengthen their ideas, independent of their beliefs. Although Colombia is a secular country, politics has always been surrounded by religion, where Catholic values have prevailed, a fact that has been rejected by some sectors, as happened with President Iván Duque, when he referred to the Virgin of Chiquinquirá at the beginning of the pandemic.
Regarding the movement represented by Jhon Milton Rodríguez, it is worth noting that it becomes an important piece for Colombian political dynamics, since this sum of votes has been decisive.
In recent weeks, the Colombia Justa Libres party was part of the controversy over its internal disputes, as the president of the collective, Ricardo Arias Mora, was dissatisfied with the appointment of Jhon Milton Rodríguez as the sole candidate in this sector and even asked for his registration to be revoked. One of Mora's arguments is that this appointment was made through the signature of the party's general secretary, Flor Ángela Rueda Rozo, however, in order to carry out this maneuver, everything had to be consulted with the National Board of Directors and the Ethics Council of Colombia Justa Libres.
