As is well known, the covid-19 pandemic paralyzed the world, led to the confinement of billions of people around the world and for several months it seemed that life, as we knew it, had disappeared.
However, vaccines began to appear and little by little the virus began to slow down, without completely defeating it. We began to take to the streets and cities gradually resumed their lives and with the opening mass events began to flirt with the idea of returning.
Thus, for 2022, like many other artists who resumed their concerts, the Spanish singer-songwriter, Alejandro Sanz, confirmed that he will visit Colombia on April 21, thus starting his tour of the national territory, which will take him to three of the main cities of the country to reconnect with that audience that has been waiting during these pandemic years.
The first concert of the tour will be on April 21 at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá, then it will travel to Cali to perform on the 23rd at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium and will end on April 29 performing at the Puerta de Oro Events Center in Barranquilla.
Although the Spanish singer had been forced to postpone the dates he had confirmed for Colombia, due to the pandemic, the businessmen behind the concert confirmed that people who bought tickets for the original dates in 2020 will be able to enter Alejandro Sanz's concerts in Colombia with those same tickets from 2022.
There is still a ticket office available for shows in Bogotá, Cali and Barranquilla, which can be purchased on the Tuboleta website.
To open the Spaniard's concerts in Colombia, the opening act will be Colombian singer Andrés Cuervo, who in an interview with Kienyke.FM, commented that “last year a journalist asked me which artist I dreamed of sharing the stage and opening the show for him. My answer: Alejandro Sanz, because I identify with his strength, authenticity, and ballads. Today my dream has come true, I open my tour in Colombia”.
The return of the Guns N' Roses to Colombia confirmed
After the cancellation, due to the pandemic, of the Estéreo Picnic Festival in which they would be presented in 2020, fans of the North American group were left waiting for the announcement of a new date for artists in the country.
Last Thursday, April 7 was the day when the Guns N' Roses made it official on their website, they will return to Colombia next October 11 at the Nemesio Camacho El Campín Stadium. In other words, The 'Gunners' return to Campín after 30 years, because in 1992 it was the first time that the hard rock group performed in the country, an event remembered for a great rain amid the performance of 'November Rain' and several excuses.
“Guns N' Roses is adding 9 more shows in South America! Do not miss the opportunity to see the band live in Brazil and Colombia in the fall of 2022″, read on the official website of the group and added that the information about the pre-sale for the ballots will be released in each country very soon.
According to the announced dates, Colombia will be the country in which the band ends its South American tour. The 'Gunners' will also be in Argentina (September 30), Uruguay (October 2), Chile (October 5), Peru (October 8) and Bogotá, Colombia (October 11). They will then travel to Mexico, where they have dates for October 15, 18, 21 and 23 in Mérida, Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey, respectively.
