What to do at Easter? If you want to enjoy this long April holiday without leaving Lima, one of the best options is to spend an incredible day at Parque de las Leyendas, one of the most famous venues in the country which receives hundreds of visitors a day, who seek to relax in the midst of nature and animals. In addition, there is a wide variety of activities that you can do alone or in company.
ABOUT THE PARK OF LEGENDS
This is the main zoo in Lima, a space where visitors can find an important variety of fauna and flora from Peru and the world, but it is also one of the most important archaeological sites in the city. Some of its buildings are about 2000 years old. It currently houses 54 archaeological remains, mostly Huacas, of which two are open to visitors, these are Huaca San Miguel and Huaca Cruz Blanca. The park also has several museums such as the Kalinowski Museum (natural history), Middendorf Museum (archaeology), Model Mine and the Petroleum Museum.

PRICE OF TICKETS TO THE PARQUE DE LAS LEGENDS
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a platform has been set up for visitors to buy their tickets online from the official website. In addition to this facility, they can also be purchased at the on-site ticket offices located at the entrance to the zoo (Av. Parque de las Leyendas 580 — San Miguel).

HOW TO BUY TICKETS ONLINE?
STEP 1: Enter the “online shopping” option to start the process.
STEP 2: Choose a category (adult or child).
STEP 3: Select the number of tickets you need and the date on which you will visit.
STEP 4: On the screen you will see a form that you must complete with your personal data and that of your companions.
STEP 5: Enter the payment method and complete the purchase. You will receive your e-tickets, which you will present at the door to enter. Don't forget to bring your ID card and vaccination card with you!
LEGENDS PARK OPENING HOURS
The Parque de las Leyendas is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition, visiting hours have been established for the museums, Eco-Farm, Science Laboratory, Vivero Casa Verde and Villa Carmelo. This one runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Get to know the schedule of activities that will take place on this long holiday of Easter 2022:
FRIDAY, APRIL 15
- From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the route of the 14 stations of the via crucis will be staged, from the Central Courtyard to the Sierra area.
- At 2:00 p.m. stories will be told in Villa Carmelo for the little ones of the house.
SATURDAY, APRIL 16
- 10:00 a.m.: the workshop will be offered “Decorate green: Let's paint for Easter!” , where they will decorate in their style the eggs made of cold ceramics in the Casa Verde nursery.
- 10:00 a.m.: animals from the jungle, international and felinary area will receive gifts from their caregivers.
- 12:00 p.m.: education staff will present a talk about the life cycle of a chick and an exhibition of bird eggs from the zoo at Villa Carmelo.
- 2:00 p.m.: the public will make easter eggs with recycled material in the Casa Verde nursery.
- 2:30 p.m.: you can join a tour, where you will meet the animals that lay eggs and learn about their life cycle, in the Costa area and the Living Laboratory.
SUNDAY, APRIL 17
- 11:00 a.m.: the activity “Where will it be?” , in which parents and children will search for the Easter eggs hidden in the Botanical Garden.
