The violent day in Colima continued this Good Friday with an armed attack in the state capital, where one man was killed and two more were injured, as a result of the narco-war unleashed earlier this year.
According to security sources consulted by Infobae Mexico, the shooting took place in a private home on Catarina Street in the Gustavo A. Vázquez neighborhood, southeast of the city, around noon on April 15.
One of the subjects who were living together on the site lost his life on the spot due to injuries caused by firearms, while two more were taken by ambulance for medical intervention.
The attacks were recorded on a video surveillance camera located at the top of a corner of the building, where there were various tools from an apparent improvised mechanical workshop. The authorities specified that it was not some establishment, but a private residence.
Agents of the Mexican Navy and the Municipal Police arrived at the house located behind a primary school, almost on the corner of República Mexicana Avenue. Elements of the Army and the National Guard were also deployed to cordon off the area in support of expert elements.
