In recent years, Vanessa Guzman has impressed audiences with her radical physical change after she temporarily moved away from soap operas. The performer decided to take a turn in her life and undergo a training regime that led her to become a professional athlete, she has even won some bodybuilding competitions.

Even though she constantly shares her experience with her social media followers, she hasn't been spared the hate because of her new look. As this situation continues to increase, the 45-year-old actress took to her Twitter account to address the allegations that she would have difficulty resuming her artistic career because her physical change “would not be left with just any character”.

Faced with this situation, Vanessa Guzmán tweeted a message in which she hinted that if she wanted to return to television she would do it without any problem because she believes that she has the professional training to play any role that is proposed to her regardless of her physique and mentioned that she will always seek to be the best in any activity that is proposed to her play.

“Understand: I have been an actress for 25 years, I am an IFBBPRO ATHLETE professional athlete, I am a certified and endorsed coach in Mexico and the USA, if I want to return to playing tennis tomorrow, I will also do it and I will seek to be the best, but if I have to play a “fat” character I will do it worthily,” he wrote.

However, his publication sparked mixed opinions in the comment box, while some users of the platform positioned themselves in his favor, tried to understand his point of view and left him messages of support acknowledging the work he has done on and off television, others felt that his expression was not entirely correct because he mentioned that he could embody a “fat girl” with dignity.

Excuse me, I don't want to bother but why would being fat be /is it unworthy? ”, wrote a tweet user “With what wrong? I understand that the hate you receive is too much because you are a public figure, but also fat people receive it, justified by fatphobia. Everyone chooses how to live their lives and that is not why they are “right or wrong”, it is just the path that one chose,” he added.

Another user of the platform mentioned that for her the word “fat” is a derogatory term and suggested that she use other phrases to avoid confusion. The actress from Dare to Dream tried to defend herself by explaining that the hate messages she receives are also derogatory and for that reason she reacts in the same way.

I do it in the same proportion that they offend me... then let's say things as they are... don't you think? ”, tweeted Guzman.

The performer received more negative comments for her publication, however, she also got positive reactions: “If you feel in harmony with your interior and like the image that the mirror returns to you, there will be no explanation!” , “Great job in every way, but I don't know if I should hate you, you are my husband's platonic love, the novel is not lost just to see you”, “With all due respect you are a very beautiful woman you are fitness, you are tall and one of the most horny women in the art world”.
