The Colombian cyclists who would go to the Alps Tour 2022

Colombian cyclists are still on the European cycling calendar, several of them will be enlisted in the 45th edition of the Alps Tour in Italy. The competition will start next Monday, April 18 and will go until the 22nd of the same month with up to 5 stages in dispute.

Miguel Ángel Lopez would be one of the main Colombian riders looking to make a presence in the short Italian round, along with his team Astana Qazaqstan. In the Alps I would be pedaling with two other Colombians such as Sebastián Henao and Harold Tejada.

The Alps Tour will have 5 stages, starting on the first day from Cles to Primiero to San Martino di Castrozza over a 166 km route. Stage two will be between Primiero/S Martino di Castrozza and Lana in 154 km, where you will have to climb two mountain passes.

For the third day, Lana is expected to start again to travel 154 km to Villabassa where the mountain will once again be the protagonist. Without giving up the climbs, stage 4 will go from Villabassa and Kals am Grossglockner over 142.2 km with an ascent finish. ,

Finally, the auction of the race will take place in the city of Lienz in 115 km, where the new champion of the Alps Tour 2022 will be announced.
