Next Monday, April 18, the new season of Buscando a Dios will be released through the sign of History 2, a production that delves into all kinds of religious and spiritual experiences. On this occasion, the production will feature ten new episodes, which will show all kinds of religious experiences from another perspective and with the context of the coronavirus pandemic.

It can be seen at the following times: 8:00pm Colombia, 9:00pm Chile, and 10:00pm in Argentina and Mexico.

Buscando a Dios is presented and directed by Chilean journalist Jorge Said, who in this new season will tour different parts of Africa, Europe, America and Asia, getting to know his particular and, at the same time, spectacular spiritual experiences.

In this regard, viewers will encounter customs such as: the Day of the Dead in Mexico; Africa's greatest pilgrimage to the spectacular Grand Magal of Touba; the deep relationship of indigenous peoples with Mother Earth in South America; the Shia pilgrimages in Iraq; and the Taliban rise in Afghanistan, among others.

Precisely, the new season begins by showing what it was like to live in Afghanistan before, during and after the advance of the Taliban militias. It is an episode that touches on current issues such as religion and war, while at the same time it seeks to give viewers a teaching of humanism and fraternity.

“This episode presented a great challenge, because we never thought that the Taliban could take over the country in so few weeks, and the anguish of the events made us live an odyssey,” commented Jorge Said, who along with his team had to leave the recordings to escape. And that's not all. At the same time, they had to help a group of women flee to Spain and France.

The journalist added that: “It was one of those great moments in life that mark forever. All those families and women who came out with us on the different planes made us live the most extraordinary adventure of our lives.”

It is worth mentioning that the new season of Buscando a Dios is part of a special programming of Holy Week that the channel has prepared for its viewers. It began on Monday, April 11 with the premiere of the new series T he Chosen — The Chosen, following The Code of God on Thursday 14, Proving God's Existence on Friday 15, I Met Jesus on Saturday 16, and finally, Mysteries of Jerusalem on Resurrection Sunday.
