“I'm worth it”: Christian Nodal swapped Belinda for Tini Stoessel to release a song

On February 12, 2022, Christian Nodal announced in a statement on Instagram that he had ended his relationship of dating and engagement with Belinda, after almost a year and a half of media relationship. The event caused a stir not only because of the dissolution of the couple, but because it would now be almost impossible for them to collaborate with songs together, as they had announced almost since the beginning of their affair.

A few days later, and after the performer of En el amor must forgive also confirmed their breakup and assured that “the cycle closed”, it was announced that the couple had a plan to release a song on Valentine's Day, a song they had already talked about before and had even sung in some transmission on their networks social.

This is the song For the rest of your life, a song that was planned to be the romantic anthem of the “Nodeli”, but that after the breakup of love it was canned, although some versions claimed that they had even recorded the video of the song that they had released on February 14.

The breakup caused one of the most anticipated collaborations of the year to remain in the inkwell, as fans of both even knew the lyrics of the song and were looking forward to its official release.

Belinda and Nodal welcomed the new year 2021 by giving their followers a “taste” in a livestreaming of what the song would be like as a whole, whose lyrics are totally romantic: “Now what do we do if this is serious. Love only happens once in a lifetime... I know that those eyes don't know how to lie, that little mouth doesn't know how to lie. Tell me if you have plans, what are you going to do for the rest of your life, for the rest of your life.”

Although they did manage to release the song Si nos dejan, as the theme of the telenovela of the same name, fans of the 'Nodeli' constantly asked them to release an unreleased song, which the singers had already confirmed and that its release was canceled just two days after schedule, when they unveiled their breakup.

Now, two months later, Christian himself has announced that the subject of his authorship will not be forgotten, so the public will be able to know him, but now he will have the female voice of another outstanding young woman of pop music.

During a live broadcast on his Twitch account, Christian was approached by a fan who asked him about the fate of the song, to which the 23-year-old singer replied that it will come to light, but on the voice of Tini Stoessel.

“Christian, tell me if it's going to come out for the rest of your life,” read the Latin Grammy winner. “Yes, he is going out, but with Tini,” Belinda's ex-boyfriend answered briefly.

The Argentinian singer-songwriter, performer of songs such as Oye y Consejos de amor, will join her voice with that of the one born in Caborca, Sonora to soon release the single that is expected to be a success because it is a romantic single, a theme that Nodal has used to cement her career.

After the brief announcement, some followers began to question the singer of “mariacheño” for releasing the song without the collaboration of his ex-fiancée, to which Nodal replied: “I'm going to tell you one thing about the songs: it's music at the end, and I'm not going to waste a song that I know will mark on everyone, so I don't understand, I mean, I understand your point, but it's okay, I'm really sorry,” said the musician.

At the moment Tini Stoessel has not commented on the collaboration, although some of her fans have asked her about it on social media. It is worth mentioning that only in 2021, when Belinda was still engaged in marriage, she recorded with the Argentine and Spanish Lola Indigo the song La niña de la escuela, a song that achieved good acceptance among the public.
