“Honest and courageous. This is my president”: José Ramón López Beltrán celebrated the second place in popularity of AMLO

The president's firstborn son wrote a tweet in which he released the poll of the most popular world leaders

José Ramón López Beltrán, the eldest son of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), has been very active on social media.

The president's firstborn son wrote a tweet in which he disseminated the poll in which López Obrador ranks as one of the most popular leaders in the world.

“Honest and courageous. This is my president @lopezobrador_ the best,” wrote José Ramón while sharing the Global Leader Approval Ratings survey, conducted by Morning Consult.

In this survey, it is indicated that AMLO ranks as the second leader with the highest approval rate (67%), a much higher figure than that of presidents such as Emmanuel Macron (France, 38%), Boris Johnson (United Kingdom, 32%) or Jair Bolsonaro (Brazil, 42%). Above AMLO is only Narendra Modi (India) with 76% approval.

In the case of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, you can see the growth he has had in his approval over the past year. As of April 15, 2021, the president had a voter approval of just 60%. As of April 15, 2020, its approval was 63%, so its recovery was up to four points compared to this last year.

On the other hand, AMLO's disapproval is 26% in the last year, but compared to April 15, 2021 and 2020, it fell to 4 points, since at that time it stood at 30% disapproval.

José Ramón Lopez engaged in a Twitter discussion with actor Hector Suarez Gomís, after the president's son asked Elon Musk to “clean” Twitter of former President Felipe Calderon's supporters, as he accused them of orchestrate an “absurd and pathetic dirty war” on the social network

“With that attitude, willingness and desire to change things, Elon Musk. I should start by cleaning up Twitter Mexico. Directed by a few self-conscious Felipe Calderón supporters, who all they do is fill up with bots,” he wrote.

In response, the actor told him that it was curious that López Beltrán spoke of “self-conscious”, because without them his father would not be so “populachero”, in addition to questioning his skills as a lawyer.

“With this shrewdness, is the morbidly obese bodoque a lawyer in the USA? @30JR41_ Curious that he talks about self-conscious because if it weren't for them, his dad's Benito Juárez wannabe would not be so popular. A headless advising @elonmusk!” , wrote Suárez Gomís.

Faced with harsh criticism, López Obrador's firstborn son acknowledged that the performer of the Thousand Usos, the No Hay, the Flanagan and Don Rigoletto “was and is” one of his favorite comedians.

“I had the pleasure of meeting your dad because he sought me to congratulate us. He was and remains one of my favorite comedians. Sad to read you. What a difference,” López Beltrán replied.

Despite the fact that López Beltrán praised the work of Hector Suarez, the Pelón assured that his father never supported López Obrador. He also noted that the Tabasqueño task force sought the actor from Mecánica Nacional to support his campaign as a candidate for the presidency of Mexico.

“Am I looking for you to congratulate them? YOU DIDN'T WIN ANYTHING! He never supported your dad and they kept looking for him during his campaign to beg him to do it. I'm glad you admire my dad, he did more for Mexico with his comedy than your dad as president,” said the actor.

Finally, Pelón Gomís explained that José Ramón blocked him from that social network and added: “Isn't that too bad to discuss? Block me, Texas Bar Registered Attorney licensed and certified to practice in the United States!”
