Child environmentalist Francisco Vera will be children's adviser to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child

The activist was chosen along with eleven other boys and girls who will review the effects of climate change on children

Francisco Vera, recognized for his activism for the preservation of Colombian ecosystems, was elected along with eleven other environmental children around the world to serve on the Committee on the Rights of the Child before the United Nations (UN) as a children's adviser.

This committee will be responsible for drafting General Comment No. 26, to study the impact of climate change on the lives and health of the world's children.
