After reaching a consensus with the family, the mayor's office of Santiago de Cali reported that the highest sports arena in the capital of Vallecaucana will open its doors to welcome its idol, because both in Buenaventura and in this city, Rincón had become a badge as a son of the Pacific. The body will be transferred this Friday to the 'branch of heaven' to be watched by his family in a private ceremony until Saturday at noon, when the doors would open and fans could enter the 'Sanfernandino' to give the last farewell to the 'Colossus'.
This farewell ceremony in Cali is expected to be attended by his best friends, as well as former national and international football players and stars, as Freddy Eusebio Rincón's legacy was known in different countries such as Brazil, Spain and Italy.
