Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) responded to the writer Francisco Martín Moreno for assuring that he is only supported by “illiterate”.
On the night of this Holy Thursday, the Mexican president posted on his Twitter account a couple of messages in response to the statements of the author of books such as Mexico Negro and Ladrón de Esperanzas.
“Martín Moreno's classist says that only illiterate people in the country support me, which, by the way, fills me with pride because, among other things, education is not the same as culture,” AMLO wrote in a first tweet that accompanied with a 30-second clip showing a comparison of approval between different leaders of the world.
This comparison indicates that AMLO has an approval of 67%, a much higher figure than that of presidents such as Emmanuel Macron (France, with 38%), Boris Johnson (United Kingdom, 32%) or Jair Bolsonaro (Brazil, 42%).
