It became known that on April 12, a truck driver was heading towards Siberia by the Bogotá exit of 80th Street, then he was arrested by a group of criminals who were disguised as policemen, who had set up a false checkpoint on the road.
Apparently the subjects had put a vehicle on the track and a motorcycle, so there was only one lane left, when he passed by the side of the alleged policemen, they asked him to stop the car and he would get off to carry out a search.
“They didn't even let me go down, I fell like seven, they gave me a ball and they put me in the car. They put a jacket on my head and squatted me, then they started spinning,” the driver told Blu Radio
The men took the 63-year-old driver in a vehicle to the Galerias sector, in the town of Teusaquillo, where he was threatened with death. “I was going out to Siberia, they put a spark ahead and a motorcycle. They left a single lane, they told me to follow. I was in front of the Spark and they said, “Get off, we're going to commandeer you. They didn't even let me go down, I fell like seven, they gave me a head and they put me in the car. They put a jacket on my head and squatted me, then they started spinning,” said the driver.
According to the person concerned, he was saved since two patrol officers of the Bogotá Police stopped the vehicle, noting suspicious activity. “They lowered their manes and told me not to raise my head, to play drunk. The policeman approached the glass and I beckoned him. He noticed and he put them against the wall. He saved me, because they were going to kill me,” said the man affected.
A few hours after what happened, the authorities found the stolen truck in the San Cristóbal sector and the four criminals were found, who were transferred to the URI of Paloquemao where they will be charged on Wednesday morning.
