In a hearse, escorted by the authorities of Valle del Cauca, on the afternoon of April 14, the body of Colombian football legend Freddy Eusebio Rincón left the airport Alfonso Bonilla Aragón, who died as a result of a road accident. The athlete was transferred to his native Buenaventura, where he arrived around 5:40 p.m. to be paid a tribute there.
From the airport to Buenaventura there is about 136 km of road, which means that getting to the municipality by land took about three hours. It is reported that on this journey several carriages formed a kind of caravan to accompany the hearse until it reached the entrance to the port of valluno.
Once in Buenaventura, the coffin where Rincón rests was transferred to a fire truck that will travel the streets of the municipality until it is left in the Renato Batalla Coliseum, where his relatives and fans will fire him in a burning chamber.
It should be noted that the body will remain there until Saturday, April 16. Afterwards, Rincón will return to Cali, where he will also be veiled in the fiery chamber at the Pascual Guerrero stadium.
