“Trusts are not illegal, they are protected by law”: INE responded to Pablo Gómez by Revocation of Mandate

The electoral body explained that the trusts are supported by the Constitution, which determines that it will have the budgetary, technical, human and material resources it requires for the exercise of its function

The National Electoral Institute (INE) assured that the two trusts it has are protected by law, in their autonomy and their operation is transparent, this, following the criticism it received for not agreeing to use its funds for the Consultation of Mandate Revocation.
