Three dead leaves traffic accident in Barrancabermeja

A huge traffic accident occurred at kilometer 138 of the El Ermitaño-La Lizama highway, Pozo Nutria sector, in Barrancabermeja (Santander). The fact left three dead people, two women and one man.

According to the first versions and the reports that citizens made through social networks. A private vehicle and a truck traveling in opposite directions on this important national road staged a strong collision.

As a result of the collision, the three people died, two of them identified as Jame Hernández Millán and Yulieth García Sabogal, according to local media outlets. So far the identity of the third fatal victim is unknown.

According to the preliminary versions of this accident, the three people who died were mobilizing in the private vehicle that hit the truck.

Although the accident is the subject of investigation, one of the hypotheses states that the collision occurred because one of the two vehicles involved invaded the opposite lane without realizing the presence of the other car.

The authorities were present at the site, where some mobility problems were generated due to the bulky accident, to lift the bodies and transfer them to Legal Medicine. Likewise, research work began to establish the causes of the event.

Rescue woman trapped after traffic accident in La Lizama

On the road that connects La Lizama with Barrancabermeja, another accident occurred that left no fatalities but an injured woman.

Through social networks, travelers reported the monumental traffic that occurred on that road in Santander after a traffic accident was recorded.

Only one vehicle was involved in the event that went against the track separator. A woman, who was riding as a co-driver in the private car, was trapped due to the crash.

The Barrancabermeja Official Fire Department attended to the emergency and carried out the necessary work to rescue the woman who remained trapped inside the injured vehicle.

4. Do not exceed driving time: the authorities recommend proper rest for the person who will be driving during the trip. It is recommended not to drive for more than eight or ten hours.

5. As is common, the authorities recommend keeping your vehicle documents up to date and not driving under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances.
