The Mayor's Office of Medellín invited Medellin residents to take advantage of the days of Holy Week not only for rest and retreat but also to complete their vaccination schedules.

Thus, 35 vaccination points were enabled on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Holy Sunday so that the inhabitants of the capital of Antioquia can access the 191,584 vaccines, 68,663 first doses, 52,755 second doses and 70,166 reinforcements, which are available, with a cut-off to April 12.

From Holy Thursday we will be in some sectors such as in the parks of different communities such as La Milagrosa, Boston, Parque Berrío and Terminal del Sur, all of which are open to the public, so there will be no excuse not to get vaccinated. Parents take their children to vaccinate, we also make a very special appeal to pregnant mothers,” said Milena Lopera, Undersecretary of Public Health

According to figures from the Ministry of Public Health, to date, Medellin has 96% of its population on one dose, 85% with the complete schedule and 26% with booster doses, so the invitation is open to those who still miss the third or fourth doses, as the case may be.
