The Ministry of Finance reported that, starting next week, the people of Bogota will be able to download their Property Tax Bill by entering the owner's ID and the CHIP of the property in a button provided on the website www.haciendabogota.gov.co, that is, without having to enter the Virtual Office.
To print, the application will ask for a key that is the number of the owner's document can be NIT, citizenship card or foreigner's card. With the physical invoice, printed on laser, they will be able to make the payment at the authorized financial institutions or on the bank portals that have an agreement with the SDH.
“We appreciate the excellent tax culture that Bogotans have and those citizens who want to pay on time. Therefore, we want to facilitate the procedure for you on our website www.haciendabogota.gov.co,” explained the District Secretary of Finance, Juan Mauricio Ramírez. The official added that taxpayers “must have at hand the CHIP of the property and the owner's ID.
For their part, the holders of a lease must know the NIT number of their trustee or bank to do the process.” Likewise, this week, it was announced that taxpayers in strata 1 and 2, those in rural areas and older adults of stratum 3 will begin to receive physical invoices for property tax at home. “The process is estimated to end by the end of the month,” Ramirez said.
“Remember that for strata 1, 2 and rural, over 60 years of age of stratum 3, the invoice for #PredialBogotá 2022 will physically arrive on the premises and to the email registered with the Ministry of Finance,” said the entity.
“In total, we will send 810,000 physical invoices, out of a total of 2.2 million invoices from the Predial,” he added. In addition, from Monday, April 18, the SDH will begin sending invoices to the mails registered by taxpayers with the Tax Directorate.
In total, from January 1 to April 10, the SHD has received more than 497,000 payments and collected over 640 billion pesos for property tax, representing 19% of the target. To date, in the Virtual Office of the Ministry of Finance alone, they have paid 21,606 million pesos of Property and have already registered 592,000 taxpayers.
It is important to remember that the expirations of the Property, with a 10% discount, run from May 9 to 24, according to the last letter of the CHIP, and that, in the case of Vehicles, they range from 3 to 10 June, according to the last digit of the license plate.
It should be noted that, on the same button provided on the website, starting from April 25, Vehicles taxpayers will also be able to find the respective invoices.
