Outraged by the kidnapping and sexual abuse of a girl under 3 years old, the residents of the José Leonardo Ortiz district in Chiclayo decided to take action by their own hands and burn down the house where the little girl was found. When he arrived, dozens of people attacked with stones and sticks set on fire and threw him into the house, which immediately broke out a fire inside the place that spread to the second floor.
The angry population previously settled outside the police station where the 'Chiclayo Monster' was located, who was almost taken by the neighbors to be lynched and make him pay for the cruel crime he committed against the 3-year-old girl, whom he kidnapped, tortured and later sexually abused her.
The house burned down would have belonged to one of the relatives, but so far no family member has filed a complaint, nor has he spoken out about the crime of Juan Antonio Enriquez García.
THE MOMENT OF THE KIDNAPPING
The case became known throughout Chiclayo after the desperate audio of the child's mother went viral on WhatsApp and social networks. Then the images from the citizen security camera also captured the moment when Enriquez García takes the child and puts her in his car and this helped the taxi drivers and drivers of the capital of Lambayeque to join the search for the little girl.
From that moment on, the search was relentless, until the Emergency Squadron Police managed to locate the whereabouts of the vehicle and detained Juan Antonio Enriquez García.
The subject was transferred to the headquarters of the Divincri in Chiclayo where he confessed that he had abducted the girl on the second floor of a house, in the area of El Santuario.
Immediately a police squadron arrived at the scene and found the minor unconscious and tied hand and foot on cardboard.
After being rescued, the victim was taken to Las Mercedes Hospital and then to the Legal Medicine headquarters where she underwent a legal medical examination. In addition, it was reported that a cell phone was found in the hands of Juan Antonio Enriquez, where several videos of sexual connotation with the minor were observed.
After the respective medical examinations, it was confirmed that the minor was sexually abused.
LIFE IMPRISONMENT
Through its social networks, the Public Ministry of Lambayeque confirmed that the investigations against this subject are being carried out by the provincial prosecutor Martín Muñoz Basauri, of the Second Provincial Corporate Criminal Prosecutor's Office of José Leonardo Ortiz. The entity said that, if responsibility was found in Enríquez García, he could receive a sentence of life imprisonment.
“Prosecutor Muñoz Basauri, in the following hours, will request before the judiciary the coercive measure of preventive detention for a period of nine months, with grounds and serious elements of conviction. In addition, that the possible prognosis of punishment would be that of life imprisonment,” says the Office of the Prosecutor.
The Vice President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, expressed her indignation over this case and demanded that the full weight of the law be put against the aggressor.
“Insecurity and violence in the streets took another victim: a girl was abducted and sexually raped in Chiclayo. We demand that the full weight of the law be exercised against the aggressor, who has already been captured. The child and her family require our full support,” Boluarte said.
Also, the lawyer and former women's minister, Rosario Sasieta expressed her deep sadness and indignation at this case. “Do you ask me why my soul is in a thousand pieces? By a 3-year-old girl who was outraged in Chiclayo. Grateful to our NPP who in less than 24 hours captured the miserable. The hospitalized girl. We demand speed and maximum sanction of the infamous aggressor,” he wrote.
